The MSA Ultima XIR Series is a fixed Gas Monitor used to detect toxic gases, vapours and oxygen. Out of the box it is housed in a flameproof enclosure and factory-set ready for you to install.
The Ultima has DuraSource built in, which provides improved IR life, and a HART port for easy output access. It comes with an explosive-proof stainless steel monitor that also works outdoors. The XID also features infrared that cuts down the need for frequent changes.
Its internal workings are based on dual-wavelength heated optics, which can adjust for heat, damp and ageing effects.
The MSA Ultima XIR uses only one robust circuit board which improves performance and helps to ensure that the sensor life isn’t reduced by exposure to gas. The LCD screen provides a scrolling readout, while quick-check LEDs provide increased visibility.
