Thanks to Atexxo Manufacturing, the Apple iPhone 13 has now been made suitable for use in hazardous locations.
These explosion-proof iPhones are originally manufactured by Apple and then converted and certified according to the ATEX directives by Atexxo Manufacturing making the mobile phones suitable for safe use in gas and vapour Zone 2 hazardous locations.
ATEX Zone 2 is the European equivalent for US, NEC Class 1 Division 2 equipment. (C1D2)
Compliance with ATEX / EX regulations is achieved by upgrading the casing of the iPhone 13 which combined with the intrinsically safe electrical circuit, makes the smartphone suitable for safe use in hazardous locations.
All features of the original product are preserved, including the face scanner.
The ATEX iPhone 13 (Pro Max) comes with a tough black case finish and is available for iPhone 13 with 128Gb, 256Gb, 512Gb, and 1Tb.
Besides safe use as EX-certified smartphones, the versions are excellent for use as intrinsically safe video or photo cameras with Bluetooth and/or WIFI connection.
