Use of this device assumes that the operator observes the conventional safety regulations and
has read and understood the Operating Manual, Safety Instructions and certificate.

When used in explosion-hazardous areas, the following Safety Instructions must also be complied with:

Inside explosion hazardous areas the covers of all interfaces (USB, ISM Interface) must be
closed.
To ensure the IP protection, it has to be ensured that all gaskets are present and functional.
There must be no large gap between the two halves of housing and between the battery
compartment cover and housing.
This device may only be charged outside explosion hazardous areas using the
i.safe PROTECTOR 2.0 USB-C Cable or other charging equipment approved by
i.safe MOBILE GmbH.
Headset IS-HS2A.1 or other accessories approved by i.safe MOBILE GmbH may be used
within explosion-hazardous areas only if connected to the ISM interface. The connector must
be securely fastened to the ISM interface.
The microSD cards type IS-SD164.1 and IS-SD1128.1 or microSD cards which comply with the
intrinsic safety entity parameters mentioned in the certificate may be used in the corresponding slot in the hazardous area.
Nano-SIM cards which comply with the intrinsic safety entity parameters mentioned in the
certificate may be used in the corresponding slot in the hazardous area.
This device may only be charged at ambient temperatures between 0°C … +45°C.
This smartphone may not be exposed to any aggressive acids or alkalis.
The device may only be used in zones 1, 2, 21, or 22.
