Replacement Sensors

Over time, sensors will naturally degrade due to environmental exposure, frequent use, contamination and general wear and tear.

Every gas detector model requires specific sensors calibrated to detect particular gases, such as oxygen (O₂), carbon monoxide (CO), hydrogen sulphide (H₂S), flammable gases (LEL), and more specialised toxic gases.

You might need a replacement sensor for several reasons. The most common is sensor drift, where the accuracy of the sensor declines gradually over time. Other triggers include exposure to high levels of contaminants or physical damage.
