Honeywell FS24X Plus Triple IR Flame Detector is a reliable and advanced solution for detecting hydrocarbon and hydrogen fires quickly and reliably, even in challenging environmental conditions like rain, fog, and smoke. It utilises Honeywell’s patented WideBand IR™ infrared technology to provide fast response times, typically within 5 seconds.
The FS24X Plus Triple IR Flame Detector offers reliable detection capabilities, responding to a wide range of hydrocarbon fires, including n-Heptane, Methane, Butane, Propane, Ethanol, Methanol, Diesel, Kerosene, JP-4, and IPA, as well as Hydrogen fires. Its long-range, wide-angle sensors can detect fires at distances up to 200ft (60m) for a 1ft2 (0.1m2) n-Heptane fire.
This flame detector is designed for hazardous locations and has several marine certifications, making it suitable for various industrial applications. It is also SIL2 rated, ensuring safety in instrumented system applications.
