Description
MSA Bacharach Multi-Zone Gas Monitor
Bacharach’s Multi-Zone Gas Monitor delivers exceptional refrigerant leak detection, featuring an industry-leading MDL of 1ppm for halogenated gases, rapid sampling frequency, and one of the broadest ranges of refrigerants precisely detected. The large graphical LCD screen and LED status indicators provide a complete system overview at a glance.
The Multi-Zone identifies leaks early to help reduce costs by minimising refrigerant recharge, improving energy efficiency, and lowering the risk of refrigeration failure and product loss. A range of communication interfaces are available, including Modbus, BACnet, and LonWorks, enabling seamless integration into BMS / BAS systems and remote monitoring platforms.
Its proprietary infrared (NDIR) sensor precisely identifies target gases down to an industry-leading 1 ppm Minimum Detection Level (MDL) and is resistant to false alarms caused by cross-interference from other gases or sudden fluctuations in temperature or humidity. The gas library includes over 60 refrigerants, including CFCs, HFCs, HCFCs, HFOs, and natural refrigerants (R-744, R-717). The backlit screen displays real-time concentration readings and makes setup and self-diagnostics straightforward. The monitor can oversee up to 16 zones (expandable up to 48 sample points) and detect multiple gases with a single device. Two optional analogue outputs (4–20mA) and Modbus communications (slave) allow integration with third-party BMS / BAS control systems.
