Talentum 16000 UV/IR2 Flame Detector
Advanced Optical Sensing
The detector combines an ultraviolet sensor (185–260 nm) with two infrared sensors (1.0–2.7 µm) to provide multi-spectrum flame detection. This approach enables the device to identify a wide variety of flames. From hydrocarbon fires to nearly invisible flames, while effectively rejecting false alarm sources.
Performance and Sensitivity
At its high-sensitivity setting, the Talentum UV/IR2 can detect a 0.1 m² n-heptane fire from up to 25 metres away. With a 90° conical field of view, it offers broad coverage of the protected area. Both response speed and sensitivity can be adjusted to match the specific requirements of the application.
Built for Industrial Environments
Encased in a robust die-cast zinc alloy housing with an IP65 rating, the detector is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. It operates reliably across temperatures from -10 °C to +55 °C and is engineered to withstand the toughest industrial conditions.
