The Dräger X‑plore 8500 powered air-purifying respirator delivers uncompromising protection against particles, gases, and vapours while ensuring maximum comfort with no breathing resistance. Its versatile design integrates seamlessly with the X‑plore 8000 filter portfolio, a wide range of headpieces, carrying systems, and other system components.
The X‑plore 8500 effectively filters particles and gaseous contaminants from breathing air. With an extensive selection of filters, it provides reliable protection against a wide variety of respiratory hazards, including aerosols, vapours, gases, and particulate matter. When combined with a full-face mask, it achieves the highest protection class, TM3. Many configurations with loose-fitting headpieces, such as hoods or helmets, are also certified to the top protection class, TH3.
Optimised for physically demanding tasks and long work shifts, the X‑plore 8500 eliminates breathing resistance through its battery-powered blower and continuous airflow system. Fan-assisted airflow prevents visor fogging and heat build-up in the headpiece, while three adjustable airflow levels allow users to adapt to extreme temperatures and reduce strain.
