The Crowcon T4x is a rugged, easy-to-use portable, multi-gas detector that provides advanced protection against four of the most common gas hazards:
- Carbon Monoxide (CO)
- Hydrogen Sulphide (H2S)
- Flammable Gases (MPS)
- Oxygen Depletion (O2)
This product is now available with improved detection of pentane, hexane, and other long-chain hydrocarbons. This offers additional industry compliance and a low cost of ownership.
The Crowcon T4x portable multi-gas detector uses advanced molecular property spectrometer (MPS) sensor technology to detect and accurately identify over 15 different flammable gases in one device. It features a dual toxic sensor (CO and H2S) with a 3-year life.
Drop-tested to 4m and well protected from water ingress through IP65 and IP67 certification, it can be used in the most demanding environments, including confined spaces and hazardous industrial sites.
The Crowcon T4x has a large single-button and intuitive menu system that allows it to be operated wearing gloves with minimal training. It also features a positive safety indicator, which provides a visual indication of the gas levels present.
Additionally, the T4x reduces the number of sensor replacements by 75%, as only one sensor needs replacing over the device’s lifetime, which makes it the product of choice.
