The Honeywell BW RigRat is a transportable multi-gas area monitor that is designed to provide a high level of gas detection in hazardous areas. The RigRat is easy to use and can be operated with a single button. This makes it ideal for use by workers unfamiliar with gas detection equipment.

The BW RigRat is highly configurable and can monitor up to six different airborne hazards at once, including oxygen, combustibles, and toxic gases. This detector features a wireless safety perimeter that can be used to create a virtual boundary around a work area. If the perimeter is breached by a toxic gas or vapour, the RigRat will sound an alarm giving nearby workers time to evacuate.

The RigRat is also compatible with the Honeywell TouchPoint™ Plus system, which allows users to remotely access the monitor’s status and wirelessly receive alerts in the event of a gas leak or other hazard.
