Dräger X-am 5800 Multi-Gas Detector
Integrated with Dräger Gas Detection Connect software, it enables real-time data transmission and efficient asset management. Built for personal monitoring, the X-am® 5800 delivers top-tier safety with a low total cost of ownership.
Data can be easily transmitted via Bluetooth® to a smartphone or the Dräger ConHub gateway, and from there to the Gas Detection Connect backend. Alternatively, use the X-dock test station to send data directly to the cloud. This allows secure, browser-based access to data and analytics, anytime, anywhere.
The Dräger X-am 5800 Multi-Gas Detector is designed for comfort and ease of use, even when wearing gloves, thanks to its large buttons and clear display. Key information such as gas levels, alarms, and time is easy to read. A green D-light signals that the device is operational. The icon-based, language-free interface ensures intuitive navigation and fast familiarisation. For added protection, the oxygen sensor includes four alarm thresholds for both rising and falling levels. Certified for Ex zone 0, the detector also meets IP68 protection standards. It features a manually triggered panic alarm and an optional motionless alarm together known as the “Bodyguard” function.
Sustainability was a priority in the Dräger X-am 5800 Multi-Gas Detectors design. The long-lasting Dräger sensors and rechargeable battery easily replaced using a single screw, extend the device’s lifespan. Most spare parts can be swapped by trained users, and the rest are serviceable through DrägerService. Accessories from earlier models are also compatible. To reduce waste, the device comes with eco-conscious packaging and documentation. When ordering multiple modular units, instruction manuals can be consolidated to save paper. Dräger also offers a take-back programme for old devices, ensuring proper recycling.
