The Crowcon SMART 3G-D2 Fixed Gas Detector is a high-performance, SIL2 certified fixed gas detector designed for a wide range of industrial applications. Built to withstand harsh and hazardous environments, it offers reliable detection of toxic, flammable, and refrigerant gases, making it suitable for use in classified areas such as petrochemical plants, refineries, and processing facilities.
One of the standout features of the SMART 3G-D2 is its non-intrusive calibration. This function enables safe and easy calibration via Hall-effect switches, eliminating the need to open the device. This makes it ideal for use in difficult or hazardous locations, where traditional calibration methods may be impractical or unsafe. The non-intrusive design ensures both convenience and accuracy, reducing maintenance time and minimising downtime.
The detector is equipped with a 4-digit backlit display that clearly shows the gas concentration reading, even in low-light conditions. A 5-mode status LED and a high-visibility multi-colour LED light ring provide immediate visual feedback on the detector’s operational status, enhancing onsite safety by making status recognition quick and intuitive.
