Pro is best suited to medium‑sized operations or safety programmes that require real‑time incident awareness and active response capabilities. Teams that benefit from live alerts, two‑way messaging, and more frequent updates will find this plan valuable.
Enterprise is designed for larger enterprises or organisations with complex safety workflows. This tier suits companies that need customised reporting, advanced analytics, system integrations, and dedicated support to manage safety at scale.
Blackline Safety G8 ‘Standard’ Service Plan
The Blackline Safety G8 Standard service plan starts at around £27 per month per device. It includes 4G LTE cellular connectivity with automatic carrier switching, dual-band GPS/GNSS offering 1-meter location accuracy, TagAssign for instant one-tap device assignment, and ZoneAware geofencing to track entry and exit from defined areas. Through Blackline Live, you get a live map view of the site and fleet compliance along with location updates every 5 minutes, and over-the-air updates without any docking required. Alerts consist of audible and visual notifications directly on the device plus email and text messages limited to SOS and high gas events only. There is no live platform monitoring or full alert management in Blackline Live. An optional add-on available here is Push-to-Talk for instant radio communication between team members.
Blackline Safety G8 ‘Pro’ Service Plan
The Pro service plan, starting at around £40 per month per device. It features Pro Blackline Live with a real-time live map including detailed location and event alerts, plus event and location updates as frequent as every 1 minute without docking. Advanced automated reporting helps identify patterns in alerts such as gas leaks or limit exceedances to support quicker mitigation. Pro alerts expand to cover a wider range including missed check-ins, proximity-based AlertLink, no motion, over-limit detection, STEL and TWA events, and more, with live monitoring and alert management handled in the Blackline Live platform by your team or a third party. Email and text notifications apply to this broader set of events, and you also gain two-way text messaging between workers and monitoring personnel along with API integration for streamlined operations and custom workflows. Optional add-ons in Pro include Push-to-Talk, Emergency Voice Calling for live voice response on triggered alerts, 24/7 live monitoring by Blackline’s professional agents, and up to 10-second gas plus location updates for high-risk settings.
